Boris has over a decade of experience across private equity, venture capital, advisory/professional services and corporate finance. Prior to co-founding Phalanx, Boris worked in PE/VC investing and M&A advisory roles at 777 Partners, Pelican Ventures and Blue Ops Partners, where his industry experience included financial services, tech, transportation and industrials. Previously, he also worked in corporate finance and professional services roles at PowerPlan, GATX and Insurety Capital. Boris completed his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech and his MBA at Chicago Booth.

Dave has a decade of experience leading operations teams and managing personal private investments. Dave currently manages Oakwood Legacy Partners, a holding company of alternative assets that include real estate, digital currencies, and private debt. Previously, he served as a US Air Force Captain and US Coast Guard contracting officer, a business advisor overseeing $250M SMB vendor operations contract portfolios that included medical services, concession services, communications/IT, construction, aircraft production, and ship maintenance and repair. Dave holds a BS in Biology from the US Air Force Academy and an MBA from Chicago Booth.

Bill is a highly accomplished executive with a track record of driving operational excellence, revenue growth, and profitability across global aerospace and defense manufacturing sectors. He was a Vice President with full P&L responsibility at Jabil Defense and Aerospace, bringing deep expertise in turnarounds, M&A activities and operational improvements. Earlier in his private career, Bill was a Senior Director of Corporate Investments where he sourced and acquired innovative start-ups in the water industry. Bill is a decorated US Navy veteran with 20 years of service as a nuclear submarine officer. He holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the US Naval Academy and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Dirk's leadership skills and instincts are gleaned from 40 years of experience. Whether as President of a college fraternity or President of a Tech Fast 50 Microelectronics Manufacturing Services Company or church Head Trustee or board member in industry, school, or community organizations, Dirk has worked with and led hundreds of professionals. Dirk also has deep experience in precision electronics manufacturing gained through engineering, quality, sales, and executive roles. Dirk holds a BS in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
